Full all-malt body and lightly hopped Our latest addition is a golden lager. It’s been on our radar for a while, and up till now, it's impossible to brew. We have found a new yeast specific for zeros that can work well with wheat and barley to brew an all-malt lager. A quality Golden lager needs quality ingredients and this all NZ beer delivers! The grains of Canterbury give the body of Riwaka hops the finish. Enjoy

Second Batch So Much Better

I wrote a somewhat scathing review of the Chocolate Stout when it first came out but now have to eat my words. The second batch is great. It gets the flavours balanced just right and is quickly becoming one of my favourites. Well done Grant and your very talented brew team. Great improvement.

THE SOP GENESIS

After 25 years in big beer our founder Grant Caunter got bored with the booze (and being 50kgs overweight). He still loved beer but his affair with alcohol was over. Hello to a world of non-alc! In NZ back in 2022 there was not a lot of choice, so who better to start NZ’s zero alcohol brewery.

Its okay but not my go too the hazy and the ipa is brilliant

Its okay but not my go too the hazy and the ipa is brilliant. The dark is too "Choclaty" and lacks the dept of a dark beer.

The lager is better than the honey one thats not great.

Really good for a non-alcoholic lager

Really good for a non-alcoholic lager. I'm not into fruity beer or beer that tastes too "boutique brewy" so this one is just like a good lager. Love it.

I bought a carton at the good food and wine festival in Perth on the weekend. Sampled some at the booth and didn't even realise it was no alcohol beer until i got home and loaded it into the fridge 🤣
